The magazine Státní zastupitelství (Public Prosecution) was established in 2003. It is published by Wolters Kluwer ČR, a.s. The magazine is listed in the List of Review of Non-Impact Periodicals published in the Czech Republic (www.vyzkum.cz).

The magazine publishes especially professional articles on the activities of the public prosecution service. It also includes papers by specialists with whom public prosecutors cooperate professionally, i.e. judges, policemen, Probation and Mediation Service staffers, lawyers, or academicians. The articles cover a wide range of legal issues in both the criminal and non-criminal areas. The aim of the editorial board is to publish especially professional and practical experience of public prosecutors which can contribute to their daily application of law. The editorial board also welcomes articles which polemicize or critically review the state of the legislation, the organization of work, as well as views of other lawyers. Upon a careful review, the editorial board decides whether to publish the article or not.
